Bellevue Community High School Girls Varsity Basketball falls to Monticello 60-45

Camryn Reeg Named to DM Register All-State Cross Country Team

Comet runner Camryn Reeg capped off an outstanding season by being named to the 1A all state cross country team recognized by The Des Moines Register.  Reeg was the number 1 ranked runner from start to finish and has the school record for the 5k in school history.

Kilburg, Lyons, Oster named to All-State Teams

Recognition for Comet football players continues to pour in after a record breaking year.  Three Comet players were named to the Iowa Newspaper Association All-State Teams. Senior Peter Kilburg as named 1st team running back in class 1A.  Kilburg ended the season as the state’s second leading rusher in all classes and made his way

Volleyball Post Season Awards

The Comet Volleyball team was represented on the TH All Area Volleyball Team.  Rebecca Schroeder, Marissa McAuliffe, and Emma Kelchen were all named Honorable Mention.  This trio led the Comets to a 16-11 record and a regional semifinal appearance.

RVC All-Conference Volleyball Teams Released

The River Valley Conference All-Conference Teams have been released and Bellevue was represented. Comet Wrestling Ready for New Season

Article written by Dave Ripperger LUKE GIESEMANN NAMED FIRST WRESTLER OF THE WEEK The 2016-2017 wrestling season is off to a great start. Eighteen wrestlers showed up for the first day of practice with varying degrees of experience –  from two-time state qualifier, Mason Lyons, to the thirteen new faces of first-year wrestlers and freshmen.

Comet Girls BB to kick off season at Jamboree

The Bellevue Comet Girls Basketball team will be getting a preseason tune-up taking on Easton Valley Thursday at 4:45 in Cascade.  This will be part of the Cascade Jamboree in which teams play 2 quarters as final preparation for the upcoming season.  Admission for the event is $3 for adults and $2 for students.
